Privacy policy

Through the inquiry form on the SpaceHack website we process the following personal data:

• Name and surname — for identification and addressing you
• Email address — for communication regarding your inquiry
• Phone number — for faster handling of your request (optional)
• Message content / inquiry type — for preparing a quote

3. Purpose of processing

We process your personal data solely for the following purposes:

• Handling your inquiry and preparing a quote
• Communication regarding the delivery of the project
• Fulfilling contractual obligations if a contract is concluded
• Complying with legal obligations (e.g. keeping accounting records)

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data based on:

• Legitimate interest — for handling your inquiry and communication
• Contract performance — if a contractual relationship is established
• Legal obligation — for accounting and tax record purposes
• Consent — in the case of analytics cookies

5. Data retention period

We retain personal data as follows:

• Inquiry only (no contract concluded): up to 12 months from the last communication
• Concluded contract: for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the period required by law (typically 10 years for accounting reasons)
• Analytics data from cookies: according to the cookie settings, typically 14–26 months

We do not share your personal data with third parties, with the exception of:

• IT service providers (hosting, email) — data processors under a contract
• Public authorities, where required by law
• Analytics service providers (Google Analytics) — only with your consent

We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA, with the exception of potential processing by Google analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.).

• Right to withdraw consent at any time, if processing is based on consent
• Right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz)

Your personal data is protected by technical and organizational measures, including encrypted communication (HTTPS), regular backups, access controls and contractual obligations of data processors.
